Big late fall speckled trout
On a clear & cold late fall morning we pushed off onto Lake Molard which is 6 hours north of Latuque Qc. I started to fish using an Electric Blue Williams Wabler (EB) and this was the result. Hats off to Williams.

Merrill Creek Reservoir in Western New Jersey is home to some excellent Lake Trout fishing. Cold clear water and depths reaching 200 feet, it is truly a wonderful place for fishing all species of fish. On this day we were trolling with Williams W40 and W50 Wabler lures. Always a surprise to see what hits a Williams Wabler!

A 4-1/2 lb Walleye taken on a classic yellow Mister Twister Curly Tail. A proven and effective lure when the Walleye are wary on Lake St-Pierre!

A photo from opening day of a 20 and ¼ inch Brown taken using one of my favorite lures, a 2 & ¾ inch Williams Dartee D2. I thought I had seen a follow and on my second cast the hit was almost immediate. Each season I land a number of trophys like this one with my Dartees.

2007-09-05 : Jean-François and Yan-Phillip Veilleux
Jean-François is all smiles over his 4-1/2 year old sons first Bass. Yan-Phillip was jigging a Williams Wabler frog pattern over the side of the boat when the samll-mouth hit. He can't wait to get back out on the water with his Dad!

I was really looking forward to the smaller 0 & 00 Syclops being available and as an added bonus they came with the new smaller 112 & 115 series Mooselook Wobblers. This summer the fishing was tough at times. The fish were visible on the sonar but wouldn’t take the traditional trolled presentations. The solution was to vertically jig these small jewels. I am looking forward to trying them through the ice this winter.

2007-08-24 : Catherine Williams and Lucas McMillan
It runs in the family.
Mr. Vic Williams was kind enough to send us these photos of Catherine Williams holding a nice catch of dinner size lake trout and Catherine Williams and Lucas McMillan with a 3 lb speckled trout.
These photos are of particular interest for 2 reasons. Catherine is the great - great grand daughter of A.D. Williams who designed the Williams Wabler. Lucas is his great – great grandson. Both of these photos were taken on Lake Kawagama in Ontario where the Wabler was first tested and perfected and where the Williams family still maintains their summer residence.

My Grandfather, friends & I went to Burntwood Lake to fish pike. Our friends gave us a Williams Wabler GN (Gold Nu-Wrinkle); 1st day caught a 37”, 40" and lots of smaller pike; 2nd day this 42", 16-1/2 lb pike - what a fight! I won't leave the US without a Williams Wabler ever again.

Mastigoughe Reserve record
Hello fellow fishermen. I have been trying to set the speckled trout record in the Mastigouche reserve since 1972. I was fishing the head waters of a chain of speckled trout lakes when I got the surprise of my life. After landing a beautiful 3 lb speckled trout this monster came to the boat after a 30 minute battle on 6 lb test line. A 4.5 kilogram 10 lb Rainbow trout.
A proud fisherman
